I had a fab time here for 3 nights! The staff were super friendly and really made it feel warm, especially during the Download Festival. Even though it rained non-stop, the breakfast was hot and tasty. A small downside was the muddy walk back to the hotel. a solid experience!

Good Ambiance but Needs Service Improvement

The atmosphere was inviting, and the modern decor made us feel at ease. the service fell short. long waits for dessert and drinks left us disappointed. A tip , don’t hesitate to ask for assistance to avoid delays.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, close to Pride Park and Derby City football ground, which was perfect for our family. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable and newly decorated, adding a cozy feel for our two little kids.

My kids wished the pool area was more family-friendly and included more activities to keep them entertained.

Management was welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast featured home-made jams, which were delightful. the room was cold and noisy, making it difficult to sleep. the bathroom was in need of attention, with a cracked side bath panel and a poorly cleaned toilet. the hotel has potential but requires significant updates.

the staff were incredibly friendly and breakfast had lots of delightful extras. It's only a short 5-10 minute walk to shops and bars, making it perfect for exploring the area. as a solo traveler, I appreciated the easy walk to Derby Arboretum where I enjoyed a peaceful stroll, but the carpet in the hallways could use some attention as it seemed a bit unkempt.
